LESSONS OF THE GAME

Lessons OF The Game Book Image
To help combat the literacy problem in our community, we work with schools to encourage students to read by offering reading contests that reward students with prizes and college scholarship money.

"Lessons of the Game will help young athletes, their parents and everyone who cares about their whole lives, not just careers, to understand the real world of competitive sports. It is a vivid and telling illustration of how the system can be, and often is unfair. But, through education, says Derek, in his inspirational autobiography. "The world is so very, very bright."

James Washington, Super Bowl XXVII Dallas Cowboys, 1990 – 1995

"Lessons of the Game is one of the most in-depth, honest, and insightful autobiographies you will ever read. This is the story of a colorful, at times tragic, yet ultimately inspiring story that will leave you moved and cheering."

Anthony McClanahan All-Pac-10 Team, Linebacker, WSU
